Inside:
Spring is here and that means two things – CIS and CCAA have just wrapped up and it’s time to get out-side again.
We’ve got full coverage of the university and college scenes, with UBC stealing the “thunder” by taking its fourth straight CIS women’s crown. Trinity Western was tops among the CIS men and it was Columbia Bible College and Mount Royal who grabbed the gold in the CCAA.
You’ll meet two of our rising stars, too, Beach Nationals win- ner Chaim Schalk and Nadine Alphonse of our women’s indoor National Team. Both have great stories to tell and both overcame a lot to get to where they are now.
We’ve got Mark Heese on board again, providing the dope on our top beach tandems. And Charles Parkinson pulls no punches in taking on the CIS and CCAA.
In our news section, you’ll want to see what aspiring Olym- pian Marie-Andree Lessard is up to (she’s a TV star in her native Quebec, no less). We’ve got the latest indoor and outdoor hap- penings as well.
Dallas Soonias is back to spin some discs, Steve Gotch shares a glass, Nicolas Roy talks circuit training and we’ve got expert advice from our usual contributors to help lift your game.
Enjoy!
