The Art of Coaching Volleyball

While stumbling around the Internet, I came across The Art of Coaching Volleyball YouTube channel.  What caught my eye was a video that is just shy of an hour long with Penn State Women's Volleyball Head Coach Russ Rose explaining passing and offensive systems.  I also noticed that there are many more videos from other coaches discussing various coaching techniques, skills, drills and strategies.  This got me interested and I went through and visited The Art of Coaching Volleyball website.  The AoCVB is a website and clinic series that inspires volleyball coaches to better their coaching.  An excerpt of their mission statement on their website reads:

Our intent is to present diverse perspectives on volleyball techniques, tactics, drills, practice, physical conditioning and mental training.

It is our firm belief that there are many ways to coach and many ways to teach this great sport. We would like to stimulate you to think and to establish your own coaching philosophy.
