CCAA Women's National Championship (Day 1)
Today, Thursday March 10th, marks the beginning of the final major championships to be handed out in Canada this year. The CCAA National Championship tournaments are being held for both the men and the women, starting today and continuing through until Saturday March 12th. For the women, that means traveling to Saint John, New Brunswick, hosted by the University of New Brunswick-Saint John.
For the women, UBC Okanagan hold top seed as the tournament favourite. Thursday will feature all four quarter final match-ups. It looks like the CCAA has set up a championship website that features updates, but no streams are currently available. We'll be back with any updates.
We'll see how the sixth-seeded Humber Hawks do, just days after Landis Doyle was named the Women's Volleyball Player of the Year. Kill on Two will be updating scores and match-ups throughout the CCAA National Championship weekend.
Live streams for 2011 CCAA Women's Volleyball Championship are now up. Enjoy.
