FIVB World League: Canada vs. Japan (06-07-2013)

Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium

Canada's men's national volleyball team is in Japan for their final 2013 FIVB World League match-up.

The team currently sits in 2nd place in Pool C, four points behind The Netherlands who won their latest match earlier on Friday against Finland 3-1. In order to proceed to the Final Round, Canada must defeat Japan in both matches either 3-0 or 3-1 to gain all three points, and Finland must either beat the Dutch, or push them to five sets to force a tie.

The Japanese will be fighting to stay out of relegation, where they will have to drop down and and compete in the qualifiers once again. Japan sits in fifth place, only one point ahead of Korea, and a point behind Finland.
