CIS: February 7th-9th Live Stream Schedule

Western and Waterloo go head-to-head on Friday night for second in the OUA.

Western and Waterloo go head-to-head on Friday night for second in the OUA.

It's the final weekend of the regular season in the CIS, and luckily for us, primetime for us means it's the wee hours of the morning in Sochi!

Every Men's Canada West Match - All weekend

If anyone has checked the Canada West conference standings lately, you'll notice that 10 of the 12 teams could be playing in the playoffs next weekend. The problem is, there's only seven spots available, have 4 of those have been clinched, with Trinity Western, UBC, Alberta and Thompson Rivers all punching their ticket already. This leaves six teams who are all within a game of each other, to battle it out for three spots.

Saskatchewan and Calgary sit in the drivers seat with 10-10 records, while Brandon, Manitoba, Winnipeg and Mount Royal all hold 9-11 records.

Six teams - three spots - one weekend - what more could you want?

No 10 Western vs. No 7 Waterloo - Friday @ 8

It's a pretty simple scenario for these two Top Ten teams; winner of the match up finishes second and receives a spot in the OUA Final Four, loser has to host a quarter final before once again facing off in the semi-finals.

Waterloo took down undefeated McMaster last weekend, but Western does have experience.

So put those thumbs together and throw up that 'W' in the air, because no matter who you're cheering for, you're going to be right.
