Twins Book Their Ticket To Youth Olympic Games
Sisters Nicole and Megan McNamara grabbed one of the final spots for the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, going undefeated this weekend in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
The Twins saw virtually no adversity in pool play, walking past Panama and El Salvador outscoring them a total 44-29. They destroyed Grenada 21-1, 21-12 in the quarterfinals and then bulldozed Suriname 21-11, 21-8 to book their ticket.
Also qualifying are Valeria Cajigas and Lina Bernier from Puerto Rico. No match was played to determine the overall winner.
The defending National Champions will join Andrew Richards and Jake Macneil in representing Canada in Nanjing August 16th-28th.
