Dresdner SC vs. Rote Raben Vilsbiburg

11:30 a.m. EST/ 8:30 a.m. PST

It's playoff time in Germany! After making their way through Hamburg in the pre-playoffs, Rote Raben Vilbiburg and Kyla Richey (Robert's Creek, BC) face the toughest competition today against Shanice Marcelle (Victoria, BC) and the top-ranked Dresdner SC. The top seed carried an unblemished record until the last match of the season, but they are undoubtably still favourites to repeat as champs.

SWD Powervolleys Düren vs. TV Rottenburg

1:30 p.m. EST/ 10:30 a.m. PST

After three weeks off,  Blair Bann (Edmonton, Ab) and Ciaran McGovern (Grande Prairie, Ab) are more than rested for the playoffs. In the first round, the Powervolleys take on Rottenburg, a meeting that has them licking their lips in anticipation. The two teams split their season series, but Düren won the later match-up on January 24th with a convincing 3-0 win. On top of that, the Powervolleys have lost only two matches in 2015, while Rottenburg is stumbling into the playoffs, going 2-3 in their last five with the two victories coming over non-playoff teams.

The teams split their season series, with Lüneburg taking the later match 3-1.

LNV

Ajaccio vs. Beauvais

2:00 p.m. EST/ 11:00 a.m. PST

With only three games remaining in the regular season, the LNV playoff race is thick with competition. Rudy Verhoeff (Calgary, Ab), Brett Dailey (Ottawa, On) and Ajaccio are only four points behind their opponent who currently hold the fifth spot in the race. At this point in the season, every win matters.

Tours vs. Toulouse

2:00 p.m. EST/ 11:00 a.m. PST

Tours VB is starting to heat up to defend their LNV title. Winners of five straight, including a win over Toulouse in the French Cup, Nick Hoag's (Sherbrooke, Qc) are poised to make some noise. Sitting in 4th place, a win to keep the streak alive is crucial.

Nantes Rezé vs. Chaumont

2:00 p.m. EST/ 11:00 a.m. PST

The road out of relegation for Max Burt (Gander, NL) and Nantes is still a difficult one. Today, they take on a Chaumont team who sit just on the outside of the playoffs, and are hungry for a win.

Béziers vs. Vannes

2:30 p.m. EST/ 11:30 a.m. PST

Becky Pavan (Kitchener, On) and the Béziers Angels could make the jump the third place today, but they'll need to get a full three points against Vannes today. Their opponent need a win today as well, as they sit on the edge of the playoff picture.

Lyon vs. Paris

Noon EST/ 9:00 a.m. PST

A huge match up today for Toon van Lankvelt (Rivers, Mb) and Adam Simac (Ottawa, On). Lyon is currently in third with 45 points, with Paris sitting tired for first with 52. Even though a win today won't catch the leaders, it will make up some serious ground.
