NCAA: Bailey Transfers to Michigan State

One of the top Canadians playing in the NCAA, Autumn Bailey (Burlington, On), has transferred to Michigan State and will be eligible for the 2015 season.

The 2014 Big East Player of the Year playing for Maquette set a school-record with 576 kills last season and average 5.15 points per set in her two years with the Golden Eagles and led them to the second-round of the NCAA tournament last season.

Bailey will be joining former club and Assumption High School teammate Alyssah Fitterer (Burlington, On), who will also be in her Junior season with the Spartans. The pair won gold at the 2013 Canadian Open 18U Championships with Defensa, adding to the silver they won in 2012.
