uSports: Schriemer Named Player of the Year

Trinity Western's 5th-year setter Adam Schriemer (Winnipeg, Manitoba) has been named the uSports Men's Volleyball 2018 Player of Year at the All-Canadian banquet in Hamilton this morning. 

The Spartans Captain led his team to a 22-2 Regular season, dishing out 920 assists, averaging 10.57 assists/set - placing him in second in the country. 

A former Junior National team athlete (2014) - Schriemer has started in all of his 5 years at Trinity Western, leading them to 5-straight Nationals appearances, three-straight Canada West titles, and has a chance to win a 3rd-straight National Championship - something that hasn't been done since Winnipeg did it during their record 4 in-a-row from 1971 - to 1974.
