CCAA Women's National Championship (Day Two)

UNB Saint John. Photo: UNB.caToday the CCAA completed the quarter-final round in both the men's and women's competitions. There were few surprises, as every one of the favourited teams went on to win. In fact, only one losing team managed to win a single set. That team was the Humber Hawks, who were eliminated on the first day of competition. It just goes to prove that having the CCAA Player of the Year doesn't guarantee your team a ranking at Nationals. We covered the full first day of results as it happened.

Friday will supply another full afternoon of CCAA volleyball action. Most eyes will be on the semi-finals, but the consolation bracket gets going as well. Remember, the games can be found streaming live (watch stream), and plenty of information is available at the Championship Website.  Also be sure to check out our tournament brackets.

As always, Kill on Two will be back with updates on the scores throughout the CCAA.
