FIVB: Shanghai - Women's Finals (Live Video)

Yesterday saw an all American final for the men's side of the 2011 Swatch FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour from Shanghai, China. Today, the two American teams still in the tournament find themselves paired up in the semi finals. Jennifer Kessy and April Ross of the USA defeated Talita-Antonelli of Brazil to find their way in to the semi finals and out of the main draw lower bracket. The other team coming out of the lower bracket is the Schwaiger sisters from Austria. They defeated a team from Brazil as well, Juliana-Larissa. Looks like Juliana and Larissa won't be able to complete their 3-peat this time around but you can imagine they will be coming back strong for Poland next week.

The other Americans in the semis are Brooke Hanson and Lauren Fendrick. After a fourth place finish in Brazil for the first event of the season, the duo missed Sanya due to scheduling. The final team in the semis today will be Keizer-Van Iersel of the Netherlands. Matchups, brackets and live streams below.
