NORCECA: Men's 2011 Continental Cup Championship
The Canadian Men's Indoor Volleyball Team is currently down in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico competing in the 2011 Men's NORCECA Continental Championship. They are one of the top 8 teams in the NORCECA region competing in this event that runs from August 29th to September 3rd 2011. The winner of this event will qualify for the FIVB Volleyball World Cup this November in Japan. The World Cup is the first event that is part of the London 2012 Olympic qualification. These eight teams are split up into two pools for pool play before the elimination rounds. Those pools are:

Canada has finished 3-0 in group play which means that they win their group and will have a bye in the first round of elimination. They will play next in the semi finals on September 2nd. The other group was won by the USA who will play in the other semi final match on September 2nd as well.
