The winner of this event will going to the FIVB World Cup in Japan a few months from now in November. This tournament runs from the 12th - 17th of September with three pools of group play beginning tomorrow in Caguas, Puerto Rico.

The Canadian Men's Indoor Volleyball Team is currently down in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico competing in the 2011 Men's NORCECA Continental Championship. They are one of the top 8 teams in the NORCECA region competing in this event that runs from August 29th to September 3rd 2011. The winner of this event will qualify for the FIVB Volleyball World Cup this November in Japan. The World Cup is the first event that is part of the London 2012 Olympic qualification. These eight teams are split up into two pools for pool play before the elimination rounds. Those pools are:
