The qualification round has ended and its now time for the main draw. Four Canadian men's teams and six Canadian women's teams have made the main draw. The female team of Cowley-Mingay entered the main draw last night via the "lucky losers" draw and are matched up against #1 seeded Kessy-Ross of the United States. UPDATE: All but one men's team (Redmann/Saxton) and two women's teams (Lessard/Martin and Bansley/Maloney) lost their first match. Regardless, all teams will play a second match today. Should a team lose for a second time, they are eliminated from the event. If it is their first loss, they still have a chance to win again today to return to competition.
