Eddy was the ideal candidate after working as an assistant under interim head coach Luke Snider last season while building positive experiences with all members of the team. He also led recruiting efforts for the upcoming season and assisted with opponent analysis and match planning.

Full recap and scores after the jump:On the men's side of the OUA, the fight for playoffs is a little more exciting. Teams are still fighting for playoff spots, while the top four have separated from the pack. Its looking like Western is going to hold onto the first seed and get themselves a bye into the second round leaving the remaining six teams to fight it out on February 19th in the OUA Quarter Finals.

More after the jump.This weekend saw the OUA make the final turn onto the home stretch of the regular season in women's volleyball. With only two weeks of games remaining, playoff spots are almost completely locked in. York, Queen's and Ottawa have secured playoff spots. Although home court advantage is far from locked with two points separating these first three teams, the real fight in the east division is for the fourth and final playoff spot.
RMC and Toronto are both tied with 10 points after this weekend. Toronto has three games remaining to RMC's four. Whoever wins the most games from here on in will secure the final playoff spot in the OUA east. Both teams play their final regular season game on February 13th.

Both the Warriors and the Varsity Blues came in with 2 wins, and 13 losses between them. You won't find them ranked in the CIS Top Ten, but that doesn't stop anybody from showing up with some entertaining volleyball.
